Warming up a little late week, spotty showers Friday

Temperatures will warm a bit at the end of the week as sunshine starts to return to the Mid-Atlantic. But with the milder air, we’ll see our next weather system bring a few spotty showers late Friday. Not expecting much more than a quarter inch, if that. No weather worries for the weekend, but chillier air will return and hang around through much of next week under mostly sunny skies. Folks in the valley will likely dip to near freezing Monday and Tuesday mornings.
