Warmer to end the week but with rain chances

The chilly temperatures will ease up as we head towards the weekend with overnight lows returning to the upper 30s and low 40s, and highs in the low to mid 50s. Friday will bring a chance for some spotty showers, with Saturday looking dry, and then another round of rain possible Sunday, but again, looking fairly scattered in nature. The start of next week is looking fairly mild with highs approaching 60 on Monday. Looking further ahead, the rest of the month is likely to be fairly normal temperature-wise, mostly average (40s) but with a few short warmer spells here and there. I think any really sustained cold is going to hold off until the last week of the month but more likely once the calendar turns the page to January.
