Typical summer heat/humidity return, along with rain chances mid to late week

Temperatures and humidity levels will steadily increase (though topping off at normal levels for this time of year) as we head through the week, but we’ll continue to stay mostly dry through Tuesday, before scattered late day shower and storm chances return mid to late week.

Watching a developing tropical system emerging off the coast of Africa that could approach the U.S. east coast later, but it has some hurdles to clear in the meantime and steering patterns in the Atlantic have plenty of time to change between now and then.
