Thanksgiving forecast looking wet for some

Daytime temperatures will warm over the weekend with sunshine returning, though with overnight lows remaining in the mid 30s through Sunday night. Mild weather will continue into early next week, before a front approaches Thursday bringing showers and colder temperatures late week. Showers could linger into Friday morning, mostly across eastern Virginia and D.C. Right now it looks like much of Virginia could pick up another inch of rain by Friday afternoon.
