Strong storms possible Monday and Tuesday

The Storm Prediction Center is again highlighting a broad swath of Virginia and Maryland for a slight risk of severe storms Monday and Tuesday afternoon/evening, with damaging wind gusts being the primary threat. Monday’s slight risk area includes Richmond, Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, north to D.C. and Baltimore. Temperatures will back off slightly on Tuesday (upper 80s) before low to mid 90s resume for the rest of the week.
