Staying dry for a while; heat returns next week

We’re finally in a prolonged dry spell after many months of relentless rain. I see no significant chances for rain for the next two weeks, aside from a stray afternoon storm here and there. Temperatures will warm again after Saturday, with low to mid 80s returning to our area next week.

For those heading to the Maymont herb fair on Saturday, skies will be overcast at times but no worries about rain.
