Spotty storms tomorrow, but largely cool and dry much of early June

Quick update on this weekend’s forecast.

Unfortunately, we’ll likely continue to deal with occasional intrusions of smoke from wildfires up north in Nova Scotia over the next two days. Thankfully, some relief will come from scattered showers and storms on Saturday afternoon, mostly west of I-95. Otherwise, we’re going to be in a mostly dry pattern for the next two weeks at least. Sunday will be a bit cooler with highs in the mid 70s from D.C. to Richmond, and the notable lack of summer heat will continue along with the dry weather. Most of next week we’ll stay in the upper 70s and low 80s.
