Spotty storm chances through mid-week, then another shot of fall weather

Spotty showers and storms will stick around through Wednesday (mostly in the afternoon and evening), then clear out after the arrival of our next cold front (Wednesday) which will usher in much cooler and drier air and make it feel truly like fall (highs in the 70s and lows in the low 60s/upper 50s at the end of next week!)

Before then high temperatures will hover in the mid 80s. Looks like Virginia and Maryland could see some fog Monday morning. As for Hurricane Lee, it’s still forecast to turn to the north and then north-northeast, sparing coastal U.S. but becoming a problem for Newfoundland and Labrador later on.
