Rainy start to the weekend and cool; warmer next week

A flood watch is in effect through Sunday afternoon for a good chunk of Virginia west of interstate 95 for 1-3” of rain expected between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon across most of the state. Temperatures will hold in the mid to upper 60s before warming back up next week, along with drier weather Monday to Wednesday.
