Rainy start to the new week

Happy Mothers Day! No weather concerns this afternoon and evening….mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s! It’ll be a far different story the next two days with showers and storms returning Monday and becoming more widespread on Tuesday, with most areas picking up another inch or so. Showers will become more scattered Wednesday afternoon, and then rain chances drop the rest of the week into the weekend. Temperatures will drop back into the 70s early in the week, then increase as the week goes on, reaching the 90º mark by Friday.
