Rain Thursday, but mild temps hang around through Saturday

Cloudy skies stick around again Wednesday, but with milder air in place we’ll reach the mid 50s. Warm weather will continue through Saturday, though with showers arriving Thursday morning and continuing off and on through late afternoon and evening. Colder air damming will create a sharp temperature gradient across Virginia on Sunday, with 40s north of Ashland, and 50s in Richmond, and 60s to near 70 south of Petersburg. On Monday, the colder air wins out and pushes further south, keeping all of the state in the 40s.
