Quick, light snow Saturday in/near Richmond; warming trend to follow

Happy New Year!

Temperatures won’t be going anywhere in a hurry over the next few days, we’ll stay in the mid 40s generally through the weekend under partly to mostly sunny skies; the exception being Saturday when we’ll see a quick shot of light snow in the Richmond area or just north of Richmond; likely a dusting to maybe half an inch, at the most. Some roads might be a little slick on Sunday morning. Milder weather is on the way for next week though, with highs getting back up into the upper 50s and low 60s by Wednesday.
