Pleasant weather through Saturday, then heat builds back in

Dry and mostly sunny weather will continue through Saturday (though a tick warmer, with highs in the low 80s), then cloudiness returns Sunday, and possibly a few widely scattered showers, but those should stay over far western parts of the state, and maybe northern Virginia. Our typical summer heat and humidity return next week, but we likely won’t see afternoon/evening storms again until Thursday.
