Moderate snow event through Wednesday evening

Apologies for the late update! We’re looking at a moderate event Wednesday (starting around noon) into late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning. We can expect 4-6” in Richmond, with amounts increasing to 6-8” towards Williamsburg, then 8-12” as you get down into Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia Beach. Much lesser amounts north and northwest of Richmond, on the order of 1-3” between Ashland and D.C. and west to the valley.

Temperatures will be quite cold into the weekend with overnight lows in the teens and highs in the 30s to around 40. Milder temps head our way for early next week.
