Mild weather sticking around; showers Thursday

Warm weather will stick around this week, but with cloudy skies Wednesday ahead of our next front which will bring scattered showers (and gusty winds) Thursday afternoon and evening. Thursday’s front will drop our temperatures only marginally, and only briefly, before mid/upper 70s resume on Sunday. For those planning gardens, I’m not seeing any threat for frost. That appears to be behind us now, at least east of the Shenandoah Valley. For reference, our average last frost date is generally between April 15th and 25th.
