Improving air quality into early next week; rain chances remain minimal

Improvement to our air quality will continue to improve over Sunday and into early next week. Our next front arrives Monday afternoon with showers and storms likely through early evening. Rain totals will amount to about half an inch in the Richmond area, higher amounts towards Virginia Beach and lesser amounts further west towards the valley. The week will start in the upper 70s to around 80, then end on a warmer note with mid to upper 80s likely from Thursday on, and a few low 90s possible as well. After Monday, the next chance for rain will be next Saturday.
