Heavy rains possible next few days, then cooler next week

A heat advisory is in effect again Thursday, along with a flood watch for the Richmond area and surrounding counties for thunderstorms that could produce torrential rain over the next few days. Temperatures will slowly decline as our next cold front sweeps through the region, which will also these swampy dew points down into the 50s. Temperatures early next week will top out in the upper 70s.
