Heat wave coming late week

A few more showers and storms are likely Sunday afternoon and evening; if we stay mostly overcast, that will put a lid on the intensity of any storms that pop up. Drier weather returns Monday and through the rest of the week, with temperatures after Wednesday getting up into the low 100s, with heat indices potentially reaching 108 to 110. The intense heat will unfortunately stick around through next weekend, with very minimal rain chances during that time frame.
