Heat and storm chances return Sunday

As temperatures climb back into the 70s and 80s starting Sunday and continuing into the first half of this coming week, we’ll also see scattered afternoon and evening showers and storms Sunday through Wednesday, none of which look severe at this point but I’ll keep an eye on it. Rain chances will be less after Wednesday but temperatures will remain in the upper 70s and low 80s through Friday, with storms staying mostly over far western portions of Virginia.
