Frosty tonight for parts of Virginia and Maryland

Freeze warnings are in effect for parts of western/northwestern Virginia up into western Maryland tonight and early tomorrow morning. Temperatures will dip down into the 30s west of I-95 and into the low 40s east of 95 before getting back up into the upper 50s/ low 60s in the afternoon. Protect or bring in tender plants!

Skies will become more cloudy mid-week ahead of our next storm system which will bring a nice soaking rain to Virginia and Maryland on Friday, the heaviest rain arriving in the afternoon and evening, possibly lingering into Saturday morning.
