Flood watch for Friday and much cooler but heat and sun return Sunday

The Richmond area is under a flood watch until Friday night, with showers moving in later tonight/early tomorrow morning and continuing all day Friday; rain totals of 1 to 3” are expected by Saturday evening. Rain will likely linger Saturday across eastern Virginia and along the coast. Temperatures will top out only around 80. Sunshine returns Sunday and we’ll get right back to the heat wave we’ve been suffering through lately, with highs approaching 100 as soon as Monday.
