Dry pattern settling in along with sharply cooler temperatures

Overcast skies will finally depart our area in full by Sunday, giving way to sunny skies and, by Tuesday, much cooler temperatures which will hang around for at least a full week. We’ll likely see overnight lows dip into the mid/upper 40s and highs topping out only in the upper 60s, with very low dew points.

In the Gulf of Mexico, a new tropical storm will be forming soon, becoming a hurricane by mid-week, but high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic will force the storm to stay south, and cut eastward across central Florida then into the Atlantic Ocean. No weather impacts for us, thankfully.
