Dry but cooler for Thanksgiving and Black Friday

Rain will exit the area early Wednesday morning, but it’ll be another day before the colder air moves in. We’ll see sunnier skies and cooler weather from Thanksgiving into the weekend, but clouds will increase Sunday as a coastal low moves north from the Carolinas, which could bring some light showers to coastal Virginia and Maryland.

Looking ahead to next week, it’ll feel more like winter with a reinforcing shot of cold air bringing highs only in the 40s and lows in the upper 20s/low 30s under mostly sunny skies.
