Cooling down a little; storm chances return into the weekend

Temperatures will cool a bit slightly as we head into the weekend, but we’ll remain mostly sunny, with afternoon/evening storm chances returning Friday and this weekend, with some spots likely to pick up another inch where storms pop up. We’ll catch a short break from the excessive humidity early next week as well. The air quality forecast is for good in the Richmond area and moderate for D.C. and Baltimore.
