Cooler temperatures coming; watching potential for helpful rain late next week

Good news and bad news.

Bad news is, rain chances will remain sparse for at least another 4 to 5 days with only very scattered storms Sunday and Monday. However, forecast models are indicating a potential tropical system making landfall over some part of western Florida early next week, and the track and intensity of that could possibly bring us some much needed rain later in the week.

The good news is, temperatures will drop nicely from Sunday on, with mid 80s to start next week, then potentially topping out only in the upper 70s mid to late week, with lows in the upper 60s, and some 50s in the valley. Might not catch a break just yet from the humidity though, especially if we see the remnants of a tropical system later in the week.
