Cooler, drier air sets up shop through the weekend and into next week

Much more pleasant temperatures and humidity levels will be with us through the weekend and into most of next week as a north/northwest wind flow ushers in cooler and drier air, along with a generally drier weather pattern aside from a few spotty showers/storms on Sunday afternoon, most of those south of Richmond. We’ll enjoy overnight lows in the upper 50s (upper 40s in the Shenandoah Valley) and highs topping out at 80.

Nothing to worry about in the tropics at the moment as the few systems out there will recurve and stay safely out at sea.
