Comfortable, dry pattern rolls on but models hint at rainy end to next week

Dry and pleasant weather will continue through the first half of the new week, with highs staying put in the 80s, low humidity, and plenty of sunshine. Then, by late week, models show a slow moving storm system parking itself over the region, spreading showers across the state that will hang around for Thursday and Friday. We could be looking at another 1 to 2” by Saturday morning.
